I have always loved the Fall.  That crispness in the air.  The beautiful reds, golds and browns of nature.  Apples and pumpkins.  Now that I live in Southern California, I miss Mother Nature’s spectacular show that I used to take for granted in New Jersey, but I still feel inspired to change it up a bit once summer ends.  Fall is a great time to change your decor and fell the coziness of the season.  The trick is to take your cues from nature.  Incorporate rich, warm hues with throw pillow and blankets.  Bring in branches and fall flowers for an instant color splash.  Decorate with apples and pumpkins for a seasonal touch.  If you keep the decor centered around rich colors and textures instead of specific holiday decorations, you’ll be treated to a decor change that will last all season.

Pillows and throws are a quick and inexpensive way to warm up a space.
