Lynn Ranch Salto Residence, Thousand Oaks

A California-Spanish Ranch house came alive through this renovation. Unique, custom designed walnut shelving enhances the family room and new linear fireplace. Custom and curated furnishings were added throughout the home in bold colors that compliment the original Saltillo tile floors.  The kitchen was also updated with newly refinished cabinets, new backsplash and countertops.  The same soft griege color used on the cabinets was used on the original ceiling beams to coordinate with creamy white walls. Dark solid entry doors were replaced with laminated glass panel doors that fill this once dark home with beautiful bright light.  My client’s eye for stying and accessories will complete this beautiful, light-filled transformation.

This was my first time hiring an interior designer, and am blown away by what a difference it makes to a home renovation. Alicia’s creativity, professionalism, and passion for design are reflected in the final product, a beautiful home. She listened to our needs and desire for a lighter brighter more cohesive design that worked with the style of the house and our family. We really wanted to incorporate our 50 year old Saltillo tile that is throughout the home into the design and she worked her magic! Alicia’s design and is exactly what I wanted, yet would never have been bold enough to create on my own. Not only do we love living in our newly designed home, we get a ton of compliments on every detail. Thank you!
